Beginnings

Soon after graduating from college, I left Lancaster, PA and began a life-altering adventure as a Peace Corps Volunteer.  I was sent to a small town located in a remote area of Paraguay.  Not surprisingly, I discovered a place with tremendous need and a people with unsurpassed generosity.  By the end of my Peace Corps assignment, I had accomplished some of my goals, but what I received from the people of Paraguay far exceeded my expectations.  Without a doubt they taught me more than I could ever give them.  I am now married to a Paraguayan and we have three sons.  My family has traveled to Paraguay many times and each time we returned home with many stories of good times but also with a bit of a heavy heart.  We always felt that there must be some way that we can help to improve the lives of a people we love so dearly, if only in a small way.  And so was born OutreachParaguay...
