What a year! Here are a few highlights… We continue to ship donations throughout the year of gently used or new clothing, shoes, soccer gear, medical supplies, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, educational resources, books, etc.

We continue to advocate for early childhood literacy. This summer we engaged with students and educators in 16 schools in the Departments of Caazapá and Caaguazú. Each school received another pack of books to grow their library. We also taught classes on the importance of Exercise, Healthy Eating, Personal Hygiene, Handwashing and Dental Care through entertaining stories, demonstrations, and songs. Students left with hygiene kits to take home. And of course, we left cherished soccer balls for each school!

Donations allowed us to provide scholarships to 36 students attending Fe Y Alegria School in San Joaquin. This school provides quality education to students “living on the borders of exclusion”.

For years OutreachPARAGUAY has supported a Mobile Health Clinic operating out of the Regional Hospital of Caazapá. This year the Mobile Clinic underwent much needed repairs and updates. We were glad to collaborate with a phenomenal team of healthcare providers traveling to remote communities with limited access to any type of healthcare. This year we traveled to communities in and around Yuty, Caazapá.

The Mbya Guarani has welcomed us into their community. We spent time in their school working with students and we provided the community with some food, clothing, and tools for them to continue basket making which provides an income for the community.

Remember, these are only some of the highlights! Each year we receive more requests for help…we need your help! We are beyond grateful for each and every donor. We are beyond grateful for our in-country representatives and collaborators. We could not continue our work without them!
